Thieves and loudmouths, Esther, Lamar, and Zed live under the same roof. But despite their close bond, Esther never misses an opportunity to criticize her two partners for their lack of ambition. Stung by this, Lamar, in love with Esther but unable to tell her, and Zed, who admits to a weakness for older women, decide to move upmarket by approaching a major crime boss: Armand.
