Éric Atlan is the recipient of the Hachette Foundation Young Producer Award, presented to him by Jean-Luc Lagardère. Indeed, from the age of seventeen, Éric Atlan began producing by partnering with Philippe Bédrossian and Christine Leclabart, going on to create more than one hundred short and feature films, including the now cult film Les Démons de Jésus starring Thierry Frémont, Nadia Farès, Marie Trintignant, Victor Lanoux, the then up-and-coming José Garcia, Martin Lamotte, Patrick Bouchitey, Élie Semoun, among many others.

Through his productions, he has discovered numerous talents such as Kate Beckinsale, who went on to become an international Hollywood star, as well as Samy Naceri, the lead of the Taxi franchise, Éric Ruf, General Administrator of the Comédie-Française, along with Bruno Putzulu, Atmen Kelif, Xavier Giannoli, Alexandre Desplat, multiple Academy Award-winning composer, and Darius Khondji, to name but a few. He has also worked with Claudia Cardinale, Guy Bedos, Bernadette Lafont, Yorgo Voyagis, Yann Collette, Nicolas Silberg and Maud Rayer.

With Bolloré Productions, he developed two fully digital studio films, which led him to conceive further projects such as MORTEM, winner of 18 international awards in the United States, as well as BLACKSHEEP FOREVER with John Dailly. For this project, he co-wrote, with a collective of authors, twelve science-fiction novels to be published over a three-year period from December 2024 by Sister and Brothers.
Today, he is developing series for both France and international markets.

To this end, alongside partners such as Marc Bercovitz, Manuel Huard and Claude Millet, as well as Jacqueline Leclabart, David Yetta and Philippe Cromer, he develops projects across several labels grouped under what he calls La Compagnie Éric Atlan, together with his creative collaborators: Christine Leclabart, Philippo Al and Marc Bercovitz, producing films and publishing books for both young audiences and the general public.

Together with Stéphane Bouvier and Fernand Cyrille, they founded LA SISTER AND BROTHERS FACTORY, a film production studio behind LES AVENTURES DU CAPITAINE JIMMY CROCHU, a feature film also presented as a four-episode mini-series, scheduled for release in Canada and France in late 2026/2027.

The original TOC TOC TOC, a cinematic vignette inspired by the spirit of films starring Louis de Funès, offers the moving final filmed images of Michel Galabru as he meets Laurent de Funès. Alongside writer Jacques Pessis, Laurent shares his story through sketches punctuating TOC TOC TOC, providing a sincere insight into the world of “de Funès”.

For a wider audience, LA SISTER AND BROTHERS FACTORY also produces youth series such as LES AVENTURES DE XORRO & XARRA and LES RAGTIME’S FOLLIES, the first volume of which was published by BD Jazz. These works are created using the techniques of 1920s burlesque short films—sepia tones and accelerated motion—accompanied by original ragtime compositions produced under the RAGTIME’S FOLLIES label by Jacqueline Patte, Philippo Al, Stephan Lawson, Hughes Cyril, Marc Bercovitz, Jimmy Armand, Mané Soleil and L’Oracle.

A new mainstream cinematic project is currently in pre-production: GAMOOS, for GAMOSS’ Productions, a high-energy comedy by Sandy Serra, currently in development with Canal+.

In 2024, a new partnership was formed within the production label Seek-Atlan, bringing together Samy Naceri and Sofia Hadji with the creation of a new label, Phoenix Studio. Several films are already in production for this new studio for 2026–2027, including M.D.R (Mort de rire), adapted from Éric Atlan’s short story published by Sister and Brothers, written by Éric Atlan and Bibi Naceri and directed by Samy Naceri; L’Épée de Damoclès, starring Samuel Le Bihan, Samy Naceri, Nadia Farès and Moussa Maaskri, directed by Bibi Naceri; and La Mentale 2 – La Relève, currently in development with Samy Naceri and Clotilde Courau.

Within this structure, Éric Atlan leads the production label alongside Samy Naceri and Julian Naceri. A first production has already been completed: Jack’Potes, directed by Julian Naceri, starring Samy Naceri, Agnès Soral and Dominique Frot, alongside five emerging talents. Completed in spring–summer 2023, the film is now entering final mixing and colour grading, pending approval from the three partners, and is currently under certification review.

In parallel, a literary release schedule began in January 2024 with five novels published by CED and CEDIF. Éric Atlan’s latest novel is a Western titled JACK LOVE – LA RIVIÈRE DE SANG, for which trailers are available online. As for the theatre season, new surprises are expected in 2026–2027, notably involving Laurent de Funès.

All these productions and literary works (novels, short stories, comics, books, audio, CDs), as well as theatrical, cinematic and audiovisual projects, are produced under the labels:
